Zou Yue

     Zou Yue became a reporter for CCTV international in August 2003, covering foreign affairs, public security and the activities of the country's top advisory body, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.


     Previously, Zou Yue was a producer and reporter for Wuhan TV where he had primary editorial and newsgathering responsibilities for local news coverage. He anchored the 15-minute local daily English news program.


     Since 1997, Zou Yue has covered many major events across China, including the 1998 Yangtze Flood, the Wuhan Airliner Crash, Hong Kong and Macao's return to China, China's first manned space flight, the second round of Six-Party Talks in Beijing and an annual meeting of China鈥檚 10th National People鈥檚 Congress. His coverage of China鈥檚 first manned space flight won the first prize of the China Television News Awards in 2003.


     Zou Yue worked as reporter and editor for many award-winning documentaries for Wuhan TV including When Comet Shoemaker Levy-9 Hits Jupiter, The Great Yongle Bell and Protecting Dunhuang.


     Zou Yue graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a BA in English Language, and holds an MA in Literary Criticism from Central China Normal University.
